Red Brick Daily

Sad news for all those guys and gals with a “thing” for smokin’ hot Taiwanese actress Shu Qi … your dreams of ‘happily ever after’ with this dreamboat were sunk by the news last week that the mildly-nude-model turned actress / celebrity Shu Qi (舒淇) has married Hong Kong actor and singer Stephen Fung (馮德倫).

The pair have known each other for 20 years, been in a relationship for four years, and said they just “decided now was the time.”

Shu Qi, now 40, shot to fame in Hong Kong in the 1990s after starring in an erotic film by Hong Kong director Wong Jing.

She won a Golden Horse Award for best lead actress in 2005 for her performance in Taiwan director Hou Hsiao-hsien’s film “Three Times.”

Earlier this year, Shu won the best actress award at the Asian Film Awards for her role as an assassin in Hou’s Tang Dynasty martial arts film “The Assassin.”

Stephen Fung, 42, is a well-known HK actor, starring in dozens of films since the 1990s. He’s also written and directed films including “Heroes in Love,” “Enter the Phoenix” and “House of Fury.”

Congratulations!   But … if it doesn’t work out, Shu Qi … um … give us a call, cool?
