Red Brick Daily

If you’ve lived here long enough, you might remember the days when the ONLY English newspaper that was readily available across Taiwan was the China Post.

But, following the lead of the Taiwan News, the Post will cease its print version and go all digital on May 15th, 2017.

This leaves the Taipei Times (owned by the massive Liberty Times group) as the last printed English newspaper in Taiwan.

Any thoughts? Sad? Happy? Not concerned? Tell us on FB.

Here’s some coverage on the topic:

After 65 years, The China Post to go paperless on May 15

“The daily, first printed in 1952, will be transformed into a digital news platform, Hsieh said at a press conference, describing the decision as the first step in the transformation of the veteran newspaper in the digital era.”
